Ultimate - ein absolutes Must-Have für Pet Shop Boys-Fans

Diese zurecht "Ultimate" betitelte Zusammenstellung aus fast drei Jahrzehnten Pet Shop Boys führt nicht nur 19 ihrer größten Hits auf einer Compilation zusammen, sie enthält darüber hinaus auch einen brandneuen Titel, den Neil und Chris erst im September 2010 aufgenommen haben. Der neue Song "Together" wurde in Kooperation mit dem bekannten Ex-Xenomania-Teammitglied Tim Powell geschrieben und produziert, und er verspricht jetzt schon ein echter Single-Hit zu werden!

Das Tracklisting beginnt mit ihrem ersten Megahit "West End Girls" aus dem Jahr 1985, der in diesem Jahr sein 25-jähriges Jubiläum feiert. Anschließend beginnt eine Reise durch die Zeit der Hit-Geschichte des britischen Electropop-Duos, die bei Titel 19 mit Ihrem brandneuen Hit "Together" furios endet.

Die Deluxe-Version enthält zusätzlich zur CD eine ausgesprochen umfangreiche DVD mit über 3 Stunden bisher auf Bildtonträger unveröffentlichten Auftritten von Neil Tennant und Chris Lowe: Allein 27 Single-Performances, die von BBC für die Sendungen "Top Of The Pops", "Old Grey Whistle Test", "Wogan" und die "Brit Awards"-Show aufgezeichnet wurden und die komplette, 21 Titel umfassende Headliner-Perfomance des Glastonbury Festivals 2010.
